^ I agree they should do it some other place, but i think when u have a private cubicle then it becomes 'private' .. and what they do behind closed doors is their problem.

I dont understand why it is being considered as a problem. bcoz its in a 'public' place? or is it bcoz it has be video taped? or bcoz it has been used to blackmail and murder? or bcoz it is just not islamic?

first is not a problem bcoz its in a private cubicle, 2 IS a problem, 3 IS A CRIME and 4???? Well it doesn't matter if u don't allow it in cafe's coz then ppl will do it in their homes. So is 4 really OUR problem? isn't it their personal decision to choose the right path?

Bagona you make it sound so easy. The net cafe's are responsible for providing the kids with a perfect venue and atmoshpere to do whatever they wish. WOuld you act so indifferent if your son or daughter were having sex behind the closed door of their bedrooms just because their bedroom is their private, personal space? Whatever these kids did was wrong. Think as a parent of one of the kids that was blackmailed. Would you not have done anything to stop it before hand if you could? Just because the kids may have found some other spot to have sex doesn't mean we provide them with more easily accessible cubicles to do it! Today we can easily ignore the whole episode because it doesn;t directly involve us. But tomorrow our kids will be growing up in that very same society and may become subject to similar unfortunate situations. This way it isn;t just the problem of those involved but ours too. Ofcourse it is our duty first to instill good values in them so they don't sway that way to begin with but they are human after all and to err is human. But it doesn;t mean we do nothing to discourage them or prevent them from going astray.

I think taping and blackmailing is a bigger crime than having sex in an enclosed cubicle. Aren't the netcafe owners supposed to post a notice in a viewable area that this place is being monitored. I am sure, the sex act would not have taken place if the participants knew that they were being watched.

I don't think haveing sex should even be an issue here. It's about violation of privacy laws. Those cafe owners should be brought to justice.

What the cafe owners did was outright unacceptable and ofcourse they should be brought to justice. Why would they put up notices that the area is monitered to begin with? They are probably there to make the most of everything and make money in more than one way. If they put up notices a lot of people who go their for dating/viewing porn sites wouldn't go there to begin with, thus cutting down the net-cafe income. Yes if they did make it publicly known that the area is monitered that would be the best deterrent.

Again if the kids weren't having sex to begin with the owners wouldn;t have much to blackmail them with no? A sin commited in privacy is as bad. The net-cafe owners should be punished and we have to ensure that such outlets are not available under disguise to kids either.

And whats the difference between the two? :hehe:

OK OK, I know what you mean, they want to make money. But, then they shouldn’t be releasing the tapes to newspapers.

Subha subha maar khaani hei tum ne aaj :spank:

Who gave the tapes to the newspapers? I think the whole thing became public when the families were blackmailed and the suicieds/killings took place.

Agreed. If you are going to tape these cubicles it should be made clear with a public notice. Prevention should be the object and if there's a big sign up saying that all activity is monitored and taped nothing like this would happen.

Kya samaj nahee aaya?

visl kay maa'anee?

It means mulaqat, encounter (usually between a male and a female)
