Okay, so you've basically answered your own question.
Maintaining your looks is important, but develop some healthy confidence within yourself. If you feel that you're deficient in something or some skills, then work on them. But do it for yourself more than for getting the guy. Be yourself, use common sense when you speak and act, and just relax. When you try too hard...you can easily put more pressure on yourself....which can prevent you from thinking clearly/making sound decisions about your future, etc.

I NEVER accused you of not being yourself. I just mentioned that as a general suggestion. Also, even if you were to dress up as the most beautiful girl in all the land and amp up the charm and showcase your various skills......you still might get turned down and that's a part of the ristha process. Attraction/compatibility are very complex and you're not gonna click with everyone as people have different expectations. I do think you need to work on slowing down a bit....just slow down and consider all angles and how you'll be viewed before expressing yourself....because I think you tend to jump to conclusions.

Hey, she asked us about seedha-pan AND how to improve upon bombshellfulness and I responded. Admit it.....if not openly....then at least within yourself....that the fingers/tongue iare working faster than the mind. She does need to slow down....nobody pointed it out to her....and maybe I'm wrong in doing so....but I did it anyway and I tried to do it as tactfully as possible. She can hate me for it...but eh at least she can't say no one warned her.

I absolutely agree with you!!! He needs to have a heart of gold not just looks. I personally feel that we have the option to make ourselves more competitive if we willingly work on our weaknesses to increase our chances. Rationally speaking, I believe it is in our ability to create more marriage options for ourselves if we focus on character building deficiencies.
