in my village, it was quite common to see brides [one year or less] wearing their own ‘shaadi kaa joRaa and zevraat’ with full make up [missii, kaajal, lip stick, powder, nail polish etc] … someone joked…**“btw, which one is the dulhan that’s getting married today?” **
