PTI can join hands with MQM if it quits terror politics: Imran
Lahore, June 4 (ANI): Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) party has said that his party can join hands with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) if it quits its terror politics.
"I have no personal animosity with the MQM chief Altaf Hussain. I decided to sue him only after his party men attacked PTI workers on May 12, the Daily Times quoted Khan as saying.
Khan said General Musharraf, army and intelligence agencies were aware about the MQM’s activities.
He recalled that in February 1999, Musharraf had described Hussain as one of the most wanted terrorists of country.
No with the real MQM. I mean for months he has shown anamosity, accused the party for murder and mafia ring. Now he is willing to join hands and proclaiming no personal anamosity. He knows MQM has a real voting block and wants a piece of it. PPP and Nawaz do not give a f about him and knowing MQM bad publicity, they might go for it.
How can he file a case against altaf yet get an alliance with MQM, unless he i talking to other ppl in MQM and its in their mutual intrest to get rid of Altaf

Imran is saying he has no issue with MQM if it gives up terror politics, thus saying there is more to the party than just terror politics ..and thus maybe its not a terrorist group??
I am confused. My guess is he has realized that going all alone is not going to help him win any votes. So, he went after MQM to earn some voting blocks, now that his movement have been a flop in Karachi and U.K. He has changed his mind and wants to mend things. Alliance with MQM will help both of them. MQM has receieved some harsh criticism in recent time and need some one to brush up their image. A hand shake and a hug with Imran will go a long way. Look for them to give Imran the voting block in Karachi.

Maybe he is trying to change the party from within rather than by opposition, having MQM agree to play better may be easier than forcing them to play better? That may be the approach that Imran is taking.
I tell you what, watching Imran Khan in politics is like analyzing Inzamam in the cricket field. We think there is an underlying to it, but most of the time it is a dumb move.

he is shrewd, and from what I have read in this thread now, he is calculating his moves to be in a stornger position.
sadly, that also is pointing towards a quest for power than for justice and that has me bummed.
yeah, I dont think yahoo news knows what its talking about. it just does not make sense, does not add up like many other things in the current situation.
