LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Sunday held British Prime Minister Tony Blair responsible for Karachi violence. Addressing a press conference, he said MQM chief Altaf Hussain was enjoying full rights in UK. “The British government has shown double standards; on the one hand it is fighting a war against terrorism and on the other it has given citizenship to the number 1 terrorist of Pakistan,” he said. He said that his party would file a case against Altaf Hussain in London. “He is not representing Muhajirs, but running a fascist party,” Imran said. “We will hire lawyers’ panel in London to file a suit against Altaf Hussain because he is responsible for the killing of innocent people in Karachi,” he said. Imran said that his party was also considering lodging an FIR against rulers for bloodshed in Karachi. staff report
If Imran Khan is ever going to do this, his service to the nation at large and to the people of Karachi especially would be remembered for a long time to come. Although a lot of the blame goes to the military governments for creating MQM in 80s and reviving it in the 21st century, Altaf has done more harm to the image of the country and to the peaceful city of Karachi than we realize. I appreciate the idea of Imran of proceeding against him in London on the ground that he is given asylum in a country which opposes terrorism and yet harbors such terrorists on its own soil. There are no efforts required to collect evidences against him. A copy of his addresses to the general workers would suffice to prove how dangerous he is for the peace of the country.

the problem is with the level of jahaalat in Pakistan, they all vote for who their clan/*biradari *or whoever their community members are voting for. No one cares for the nation, the primary reason why Tehrik e Insaf fares so badly.

I heard really something very strange on ARY just a while ago.
Asma Sheerazi was asking Mushahid Hussain and Shujaat Hussain (both together) of their comments on what happened in Karachi and Mushahid Hussain to my surprise said, “There is nothing to comment on it, whatever happened was seen by the whole world on TV”.
She then turned to Nadeem Gabool of PPP and asked the same question, who said, MQM in ki haleef jamaat hai aur jo unhooN ney aaj hamarey saath kiya hai kal in key saath bhi ker sakti hai.
On which Mushahid Hussain, did this to :k:, Nadeem Gabol and left with Shujaat.
only Imran had the courage to confront Altaf and his gundas openly, I wish other politicians and media also do the same and expose these terrorists.
One thing is quite certain that this is the last time MQM will enjoy the perks of the government since PPP or PMLN will never forge an alliance with them.
