Taliban is not America’s primary problem. Their problem is Qaeda. But Taliban’s fasadi anti-Islam hate-filled extremist ideology is a threat to Pakistan and its society. But instead of purging Pakistan of terrorism, people like you and other PTI supporters want Pakistan to surrender to Taliban.
According to PTI supporters, Taliban are GOOD GUYS who are killing Pakistanis (in thousands) because they are upset on America.

Khawarij Taliban can be defeated by:
- stopping their foreign funding from Saudis,
- control of hate-filled madressahs to provide them with extremist fodder,
- purge their khawarij supporters in Pak institutions like army,
- going after them all out in all parts of the country.
- creating tribal lashkars to fight and sniff out khawarij Taliban from among them.
These are just a few strategies we can work on.
Unfortunately racist Imran Talibani is a coward who can not think of anything but surrender to his fellow Taliban.

Maybe we would need a new army then, as there are some supporters of taleban in them and others due to anti americanism are not willing to conduct operations against the militants.

Taliban supporters are present in army and they need to be identified and thrown out. It's good thing that amry is working on it already.
Most in army (and in Pakistan in general) are anti-America, but I don't think common army personnel have problems conducting operations against khawarij militants. Pakistan has already conducted multiple operations against them and there has not been any major dissent in army ranks.

smart strategists plan. part of that plan is to first differentiate between two. they don't go in blind. so tell me which taliban is your threat and how are you going to handle that said threat.
to me the threat is TTP et al. supported and funded mostly by foreign hands (saudi, iran, america, india). now do you cut ties with the supporters? if not, then sir you are as hypocritical as imran khan like you say.

If you accept them because "we can't beat them" then rest assured, you will give up the whole country to them tomorrow. If you think you can't beat them today then you wouldn't be able to do it tomorrow when their demands increase ten times.

talking with them or not talking with them, why are you declaring jihad against one who are suggesting to talk to them, do you know the terms of the those negotiations??? do you have any idea of what is going on.... i also do not want to talk to any movement who have arms wing ( such as your MQM) but i would never miss any opportunity of talk if i have too and that is parallel to the military offensive, now i understand that you belong to a party who has always created mayhem in Pakistan and have somehow turned the city of lights in city of target killing where more people have died because of the political differences then anywhere else, this may be true to Karachi or for the politics of Mafia called MQM where killing your opponent is the only solution, but in rest of the country things are treated differently that is why there is not permanent killing there, once Taliban thing is sorted out, there will be peace, but what about Karachi, where every party is in govt. and is hell bound to kill each other every day dozens if not more are killed....what is solution to that? But if he really is sincere in weeding out Taliban terrorism, and is not a closet Taliban, then he SHOULD suggest other VERY OBVIOUS options. Options like stopping Taliban's foreign financiers.

I don't know why people are so quick to abuse MQM in every possible way, while not saying a single word about all other people from parties doing similar stuff in the city. Do you know what ANP and PPP does in Karachi? Do you think what happened in places like Pakka Qila Hyderabad and Qasba Colony Karachi?
You guys have no idea how cosmopolitan Karachi is.
Now as far as negotiations with MQM, I said earlier that we can negotiate not just with MQM but also with ANP and PPP as well. But we can't do negotiations with Taliban. For example, all these parties, at least officially, believe in democracy and working with others; but extremists like Taliban consider consider democracy "kufr". That's just one example. They will not stop unless the whole country is at their feet. There is NO negotiation possible with people who are on a divine mission.
