Reverse Swing, if you already said that you don't support him then we are not arguing with you, at least I am not arguing with you.
It is about Imran, the politician. It's his views which matter because he has a chance to influence Pakistan's future government and policies.

Lets remember that those using the drones are the ones advocating a full-scale Swat-style invasion. It is the Pakistan military that is hesitant to do so, either its because those are 'extremists' we wish to protect or its because (the official line goes: ) we dont have the capacity to do so at the moment. Btw their motivation for jihad is not that they want their children educated and economic projects in the area. Indeed one of the ways they retain control is to diminish the role of the state by destroying schools and destroying state facilitated economic activity. It goes against their interests to offer them schools and economic projects. Talk about letting them kill minorities and they might have a more sympathetic ear (as in Parachinar).

America did not attack Talibanic khariji govt because they did not like their government. America attacked because Taliban were harboring foreign mufsideen.
America does not care about Taliban's pathetic government because it already supports similar government in Riyadh.

Americans had brought them to the region themselves, and they were mujaheddin for the Americans not very long ago.

You people can keep on bickering about it but events of recent past and words of retired army personnel show that army is NOT willing to fight in tribal areas. So once US leaves there will be no war in tribal areas.
