That’s exactly what Imran Talibani is suggesting by advising us to negotiate with those khariji mufsideen.
Sure Taliban and extremism can be defeated. Not by force alone. America can do that too. But they are just not willing to spend their resources on Taliban, which is not their direct enemies in the first place. America’s enemy is Qaeda … not Taliban. Taliban is Pakistan’s/Afghanistan’s enemy.
