i do think he has been allied too closely to JI (and beardless mullay like Hamid Gul) and thats reflected in this clip too. I wonder what his stance is on JI openly praising Qadri.

One may have reservations about JI - I most certainly have esp. their on campus (UET, Punjab University etc.) shenanigans and badmaashi in the 80s and 90s, not sure if it still goes on - but to be fair to Qazi, there are no scandals, financial or otherwise, about him to date. He comes across as a straightforward person even if many of his party workers are ultraconservative and prone to violent and jazbaati religious tendencies. Personally I do not think that parties like JI or MMA should even be in politics but lets not forget that JI is the only party in Pakistan that holds intra-party elections

As for those Jamiat goons, that’s a whole separate issue. It’s sad that institutions of learning have been turned into playgrounds for politics.

The way Imran Khan talks about other politicians is just despicable. He should better learn some moral values, political differences aside - i never heard any politician of his claimed stature talks like that about others. He is an ignorant.

Imran Khan is not a fanatic mullah himself. But he supports fanatics because they happen to be Pashtuns like himself. Imran is a "proud" racist. And a stupid one at that, because his racism makes him support Taliban fanatics who are the enemy of the state.

Arguing that military operation is not a solution to terrorism makes one pro-terrorism? Arguing that this 'war on terror' is destroying Pakistan's economy is a supporting fanatics? Claiming that indiscriminate bombing would create hatred for Pakistani armed forces in 'Pashtun' areas is racism? You wouldn't claim that if your cousin (God forbid) was killed in one of those 'operations' and was counted as a 'suspect' later.

I can find you nobel prize winning pro-Talibans if that is the case.

Wikileaks have exposed Fazlur Rahman & all the other politicians. Only Imran Khan's name was never mentioned in any of the leaks i.e. he is not a US puppet unlike others.

Maulana Diesel is a real hypocrite and opportunist who deserves all the criticism he's getting. On the one hand he criticises the US war against Taliban and on the other hand he threw a party for the outgoing US ambassador Anne Patterson where he shamelessly pleaded with her to ask the US administration to back him for Prime Ministership. How shameless is that?
