Simply put, Imran Khan is a global brand name and he has a lot more to lose than the corrupt politicians we have in Pakistan at the moment.
And for that alone, I am willing to have faith in him.
I mean you've given PPP, PML and all the other fringe parties a chance and they have failed you. Why would you insist on them again? I don't get that.

Whether you think of him as leader or not, MQM did for its constituencies what no one did in decades. People of Karachi recognize it. This is why MQM got votes from Gilgit and AJK. And it proves that MQM is capable of moving Pakistan forward quickly if given opportunity.
Compare this with agriculturists in PPP government who have brought nothing but misery for all Pakistanis.
About the topic in discussion, Imran Khan's biggest handicap in my view has been his cozy relationship with Taliban. But now that Taliban menace seems to be getting better, I see no reason why Imran Khan should be given an opportunity to rule.
With these incompetent PPP government in power, ANYONE would be a better choice than it.

Why drag MQM in every discussion?
Whether you think of him as leader or not, MQM did for its constituencies what no one did in decades. People of Karachi recognize it. This is why MQM got votes from Gilgit and AJK. Compare this with agriculturalists in PPP government who have brought nothing but misery for all Pakistanis.
When MQM suppoters posts against IK by saying 'wo leader kahan se lagta hai' then you should be ready to have posts against MQM and AH. You can't impose restrictions on expression of opinion. With all due respect, this is public forum, AH ka telephonic khitaab nahi ke her koi 'Summun Bukkumun Ummyun' hoke sunay.
Regarding 'ihsaanat' of MQM on Karachiites, why MQM's development work was restricted during Mustafa Kamal's tenure to MQM's constituencies, he was Nazim of Karachi (that included Lyari & Malir Town). Give the names of development projects that were started in Malir & Lyari by Mustafa Kamal.
As far as Gilgit & AJK seats are concerned, we all know who paid price for these two seats. These two seats became the bone of contention bw MQM and PPP and then rest is the history.
