Re: Imran Khan with Javed Malik on Swat and Tribal Areas
I was talking to my brother over the week-end and he was telling me how life had changed for the locals because of these recent suicide bombings. Our local mosque is usu. guarded by 2-3 policemen during Friday prayers. He was telling me how so many people after finishing their Juma prayers were deliberately trying to avoid going anywhere near the police officers on their way back home. It was kind of funny but also very scary at the same time.
And you can't even go to your local market (Jinnah Super) with the same freedom because there are usu. security guards patrolling the area and you have to be esp. careful at night. Now you don't see as many people at night as you saw only a couple of weeks back. That's how scared people are. That's how difficult life has become for the residents of Islamabad. I am sure the same applies to many parts of the country.
