Re: Imran Khan Threatens To File Defamation Suit
Imran Khan (led Pakistan 48 times in tests, a Pakistani record) won 14 and lost 8 tests as captain. Malik (led 12 times) won 7 and lost 3 tests as captain but his record does not include any notable away wins. Malik’s test wins had more to do with the brilliance of the two W’s than his captaincy skills.
Pakistan won both the test (1-0) and one-day series (5-1, would have been 6-0 had Qadir not stupidly run himself out on the last ball!) under Imran Khan in India in 1987
The law has been changed now. A match is considered a tie these days if both teams finish on the same score even if one team has lost fewer wickets than the other team.
