DALLAS: The chairman of Pakistan Tehrike Insaf has said today that president Zardari was enjoying on the people’s money. In the hotel in London in which he would stay during his tour of Europe, the rent of his room for one day is Rs 2 million, he said.

Besides, another hefty amount of Rs.6 million is being spent on the ceremony to induct his son Bilawal Bhutto in Pakistan’s politics.

He was addressing a fund raising mass gathering organized by Tehrike Insaf local chapter in American city of Dallas.

He said that our country was undergoing a very critical situation and we are responsible for that, becuase the biggest criminal was no one else but the president of Pakistan himself, who has also employed a team of crooks and criminals in the cabinet and has imposed upon the people.

He opined that the honorable nations under such tyranny conditions always agitate. However, under a persistent fear people refrain from entering politics.

Pakistan politicians should deter of the point at which the nation starts revolution.

Will there be a revolution ? yes or no ? if yes , when do you think it will take place ?

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

Imran is the only genuine politician in Pak, the only one who actually cares about his country.

His failure in politics is a loss to the whole country.

Ironically, this is mainly due to the fact he is unwilling to make corrupt deals like other 'successfull' politicians.

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

IF his term come, he show what he is:D:

Just another thief who is looking to loot our country, that is.

People just get carried aways so easily.

A man who doesn't have the balls to publicly acknowledge his illegitimate daughter, sure doesn't deserve my respect. And when he plays the Muslim card and acts all Momin, I sure as hell don't believe him. He's one of the biggest hypocrites out there.

Re: Imran Khan sees people’s revolution looming

:hypo:

Immi bhai always reminds me of flip-flop

and no His failure in politics is is NOT a loss to the whole country. It just shows he is a failed politician. What good he is if he CAN NOT mobilize people on his agenda.

Now dont tell me its because he is “unwilling to make corrupt deals”. This will still be counted as his failure. A good and able politician would mobilize people without making corrupt deals.

as far as “corrupt deals” go..isnt he the same guy who famously said to BB

“hum BB ki saree corruption maaaf ker dain gai, but wo musharraf k saath na jaeen. aeen hum sai baat karen..election k boycott kareen”

and who supported “dictator musharraf” in 2002 …

and many more …

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

^He reminds you of a Chappal?

really

Imran Khan is good at social work, he has done some remarkable projects, but thats all, he take politics as part time business and continues to believe that there would be a “MAJID KHAN” sitting somewhere up to help him climb the ladder…

to me he have no idea what is going on ground and yes his party is not a Tanga Party because even in tanga party there are about six members…

Can you please support this statement of yours with some proof?

Nonsense.

Imran is the only one who works hard to provide opportunities for people, in the field of education, or medicine, without getting any personal benefit for it.

Of all the killers, and corrupt people in Pakistan, if the worst you can say about Imran is he had an affair, that shows exactly how good he is compared to the others.

No one can disagree on this. He is one of the most hard-working social worker. :k:

but again, we are talking about Imran the politician and not Imran the social worker and Imran the cricketer. His capabilities in later 2 categories can not be questioned.

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

Politics and cricket are two different matters. Imran Khan belongs on the field.

The political field, that is. Everyone who hates him, hates him because once he's in power he's going to take the dirty dhotis off their favorite political figures :)

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

could this "journalist" stop "reporting" in "english"?

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

Agreed.

and [email protected]'t that the most difficult read????

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

You have lost me there RD

on the onehand you support Zardari and PPP. on the other hand you have also nice things to say about IK.

As far as politics is concerned Zardari and Imran could n't be more poles apart

Can you please make up your mind? :D

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

no one can doubt Imran's honesty and integrity as a philanthropist and social worker... but one does wonder if Imran will be leading this people's revolution sitting in Dallas?

and is it not hypocritical of Imran to criticize Zardari for being in the UK during the floods (which was not only wrong but also extremely stupid from a govt/PPP public image pov) when Imran himself is also out of the country?

Re: Imran Khan sees people’s revolution looming

wow, no wonder Pakistan is such a mess – Pakistanis are so entrenched in their own ethnic-rooted political culture that they simply can’t support an honest, genuine person who’s credibility and financial transparency is established. The nation does deserve to be the mess it is in – totally :k:

The corrupt will indeed support the corrupt. It’s the only way to keep themselves in business.

Re: Imran Khan sees people’s revolution looming

where do you see any ethnic color in the criticism of Imran. the criticism that is leveled at him is genuine.

he himself is out of the country and yet he is criticizing Zardari for being out of the country. if he is doing fundraising abroad, then maybe he should concentrate on that instead of these political statements?

and lastly, until Imran dissociates with the right wing nutjobs and stops harboring a soft spot for religious terrorists/bearded animals, he will never be taken seriously by any Pakistani who yearns for a secular, liberal, democratic Pakistan where human rights and freedoms are ensured for all citizens regardless of color, ethnicity, class, religion, etc.

Re: Imran Khan sees people's revolution looming

Trust me, he's more liberal than our liberals who simply want to bomb people they don't agree with. Imran, on the other hands, wants to reconcile, which is FINE and he has also mentioned providing people in those areas incentives to police themselves against the trouble makers.
