Good to see Imran Kham realising that USA does matter, and he does indeed need to talk to them. Looks like he has softened his stance against the USA. What would his MMA suuporters say. ![]()
Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
Lets hope that the US comes to its senses and cuts aid to the tyrant... his election rigging will be the end of Pakistan... all so that Musharraf can keep his job

The US will cut aid once they find another puppet to funnel aid to.

True. Unfortunately.
Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
wait to see what happens to the aid once the democrats control the white house as well in nov 2008, not sure if mushy will still be around, but things dont look good for pak

Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
As I said in a separate thread, Imran’s whole life has revolved around “Shughal Maila”. With just one serious point about Shaukat Khanum hospital.
Otherwise, his cricket, his playboy behavior, his failed marriage, his support of terrorists just because they happen to come from Pashtoon area, all point towards shughal maila.
Even now he had been the mouth piece of anti-US activists in Pakistan. Then suddenly he shows up in the US and meets democrat Sheila Jackson and the first thing he utters from his big mouth? Stop the money, stop the money, stop the $$.
Democrats don’t care about Pakistan, they just want to drag Republicans through the streets. And how best they can do that? By dragging their perceived Republican’s ally aka Pakistan with them.
And people like Imran simply provide more dirt to be thrown at Pakistan, why?
Simply because they don’t like Musharraf.
OK stop the money going to Pakistan. And how much it is? $10 billion over 10 years. That means roughly $1 billion a year. Now this may be a lot of money for playboys, but for US budget $1 billion is pocket change.
Just for comparison sakes, USA’s army budget is close to $600 billion a year.
And if Pakistan has helped USA and US military and somehow eked out 1/600 th of Pentagon budget, it somehow becomes mighty big for some nincompoops.
1/600th guys, that’s what USA has to pay to reap huge benefits.
Sure even a small amount of money helps Pakistanis. And stopping that money, means trouble for Pakistani masses.
Then the same Irman playboy will turn around and accuse USA for “discarding Pakistan” once the job is done. How ironic!
What else you can expect from Shughal Maila?
Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
so imran khan thinks that pak should be put under sanctions if there are no free elections. using his logic, u.s. is justified in putting sanctions on non-democratic muslim countries like iran and syria. yet in pak, imran khan criticises americans for treating muslim countries unfairly. moreoever u.s. congress has shown that it does not give a rats ass about democracy in muslim countries. u.s. congress has put sanctions on popular democratic parties like hizbullah and hamas and u.s. provides egypt 5x the amount of aid it does to pak despite the fact that egypt has never held free elections. yet imran khan does not feel any shame in kneeling in front of u.s. congress which is openly anti-muslim. imran khan is to hypocrisy what imran khan was to cricket.

As I said, Imran has the worst possible "double tongue" among all Pakistani politicians.

yet he is very popular among pakistanis on cyberspace. this proves to me that musharraf is right in following a course of action opposite to that demanded by pakistanis on website like these.
Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
anti-imran cavalry is out in full force today ![]()
Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
^ talking about double tongue watch hourly announcements form Mush, changes every time from lies as to the reason why he imposed emergency to pandering to terrorists. Imran is patriotic Mush is only for kursi. Shame on him, but of course Mush can do no wrong
Re: Imran Khan meets US lawmakers, seeks aid cut to Pakistan.
It is not anti Imran, it is anyone who says a word against Mush is the biggest traitor ever, Mush first, Pakistan second, what a philosophy

Faisal bro!
These websites are collection of many different voices. Some like him because he is a "Khan", some like him because "he challenges America", some like him because he genuinely inspires them, some like him because he did good things like SK hospital. And some like him just because he challenged a sitting president cum General.
So Wallaho Alam, where will this thing go? But I sincerely hope that he doesn't do $tupid things against Pakistan. That's all.

jihadee tunzeems did a lot of good work after earthquake and overall they are regarded to be non-corrupt. does not mean that jihadis should have an automatic path to power. leaders should be supported based on their policies. unfortunately, most pakistanis dont have the ability to analyse policies and much worse, leaders are supported based on caste, ethnicity and sect. in the end, its the jahaluth of the people which explains why the region that is pak has been a backwater for most of history.

Is it pocket change for no-playboys like you too? Even if it is "pocket change" for US, why is it tied with Pakistan's support of US war on terror? It may look pocket change to you, but still $1billion a year holds lots of value for Americans.

I thought this money was only for reimbursement of expenses and army providing "logistics", how did those billions help "masses"?

Do you think those countries should not be "sanctioned"? US should dole out its money regardless of who does what in their country?

You can't see "unfairness"? How Saudi Arabia is tread vs how Iran is treated vs vs vs ? Yes both are "Muslim" countries but US supports countries who "side" with US.

Hizbullah, Hamas, Egypt are WRONG examples, right example would be Saudi Arabia, Kuwait etc.
As for regarding hypocricy, all our leaders are hypocrite and Musharraf is no exception.
