KP was ruled by ANP not PPP. This is not a good addition. But go back to my posts, what I said about him, the master of u-turns, turns out to be true or not? In Urdu there is a golden proverb "pehlay tolo phir bolo". He should learn this and down load in his head, sooner the better. He is not a bad person to be a leader, but his emotions over ride his logical thinking which is hurting him a lot as a head of political party.

Its quite funny how these so called diplomatic, friendly & business parties now are claiming how PTI & Imran Khan is hurting Pakistans relations with the west. My foot! We have been foming our foreign polcies depended on how much money & benifts each party has gotten. Results are in front of us today! PPP is today claiming to be the liberal party who wants the play the role of aggressor, but in their tenture they never succeded or wanted to solve/eliminate terrorism. Could only veberal protest against the drones. Same did PMLN. Nawaz doesnt want to launc operations, but neither want to proceed the talks. Has turned out to be a sheep. Wait, he was always a sheep. PTI is atleast standing on their policy and agenda. They always protested against the drones and it refreshing to see a party standing on their principles. We can debate how effective these drone attacks are, but why would u let a another country do operation in your country, when u actually have worlds sixth best army and have one of worlds best ranked integellence agency? Today it is KPK, tomorrow it will be punjab. Maybe then these lotaas will scream....

Agree GoldenAsif. PMLN has been totaly clueless. They can either call a APC or wait on the fence for taking descions. Absolut rubbish politics. I dont believe a passive PTI will benefit thm in long run. The critics will for sure use their passive role against them. Pakistan csnt afford it.
Now the joker Altaf Hussain is claiming how IK are making ppl job less & should shoot down drones if he dare to do it. Lagta aaj bhi zaida pii li bhai ne.

While sit-ins may not bring the drones to a halt, they are definitely a step forward as diplomacy has already failed miserably.
I would like to know what PTI should do other than copying the federal government issuing statements and taking no practical steps.
Taliban are everywhere. Does it mean a license for the US to strike anywhere in the country?
stance of PTI and JI is based on half-truths. The issue is not merely of USA violating our sovereignty but of inaction and "munafiqat" on our side. Now the question is what should be done. here are some points:
1) Drones should be operated in collaboration with pak army and intelligence services. They are the greatest deterrent to terrorists who consider themselves untouchables.
2) Drones should be used to hit high value targets, their leaders and commanders to instill terror back in taliban
3) There is no question of using drones in cities and settled areas. We should make use of our armed forces to apprehend them in cities. The idea of drones should be to neutralize enemies in difficult situation for instance dangerous terrain etc.
At the same time, we pakistanis should do our part to curb this menace on all fronts.
1) law makers should make or amend laws so that culprits may not get scot-free from the courts.
2) our courts should play their part and sentence the culprits and see that the sentence be carried out. these trials should summary military trials not the ones that drag on and on for decades
etc.
