Edhi was referring to a Lt. Gen. Imranullah Khan, who was commander 10 corps while Lt. Gen Hameed Gul was DG ISI.
At that time, Imran Khan was an active cricketer, back in 1989.

Use some common sense. Edhi was talking about Benazir’s first corrupt tenure (1988-1990), when Imran Khan was miles away from politics.
This has been answered many times in the past, and is just a lie concocted by PPP and partners, just like that rubbish about Bhutto firing Imran Khan’s father for corruption.

Edhi talked about Hameed Gul, then head of ISI, and Gen. Imranullah, comd 10 corps, based in Rawalpindi…both were orchestrating the creation of IJI in order to topple PPP govt. No secret about it.

The incident Imran narrated was entirely different, and was related to him meeting with edhi to push for social services..nothing to do with Hameed gul.
Since Nawaz is getting disrobed in the supreme court, PPP and PMLN are coming together to vouch for each other, as PPP knows that Zardari is next, and of course, along with zardari, come his kids, who are as much a part and parcel of his crimes as are the sharif kids of their father .

PMLN workers and sympathizers should not open can of worms. First their leader used this against MQM and imposed Governor Raj. The members of MQM were released by SHC afterwards. Now, if IK is to be blamed for this, then how will PMLN justify actions taken against MQM in past. I hope this is not some official statement by PMLN or its leadership.

As far as I remember, I have read Hakim Muhammad Saeed as supporter of Islamic block. In his travelogues written for children, he praised Saddam Hussain and Qaddafi. He was definitely a great man, but not all his ideas can be endorsed today.

Saddam Hussain and Qadafi were National Icons for Pakistan along with Shah Faisal and if not Mistaken Anwar Sadaat of Egypt was in the list…in 70s…
even in 80s, Qadafi enjoyed a Heroic status in Pakistan..
although in 80s, Anwar Sadaat, Shah Faisal were removed from the scene along with Bhutto. Only Saddam & Qadafi left and they were made monsters by the media ( not that i support them ) and after their removal…both Iraq and Libya have become Examples
