This is nothing but BS Imran gets all the donations from the overseas pakistanis and not from the foreign governments and he deserves every penny of it. These so called journalist should concentrate on their own politicians instead of probing into our affairs

james Forsyth's yip yap may be getthe buy in from some hillbilly reader or someone with a bias against imran looking for 'proof' to justify thir bias. Forsyth has his facts wrong, is equating pakistani-americans..or americans to american govt, and other such follies. forsyth could be this phateechar.. I never doubted it but he just proved his lack of intellect once again. Maybe his coauthor's biases came in to play more than forsyth could deal with.

Becoming so filthy, MQM is a shame for urdu speaking people! MQM has harmed urdu language so much so that no one else would have done so far.
Even it failed to bring a name of its organisation in urdu - it made a funny official name in chuchu ka murraba - Mohajir Qoumi Movement or Muttahidda Qoumi Movement - two words of urdu and one word of english! What a joke this MQM and Altaf has been for the last 27 years.

No its mostly the professional class working and striving for a decent life in those foriegn lands. Allahs SWT has rewarded them for their efforts and they just want to share their wealth and bounties with a bonafide worthy cause!

wHATS YOUR POINT, most of the people who donate to Imran's hosptial are from middle class Pakistans living in America and they donate from their own hard earned money to a good cause in Pak. You bet your bottom$ that they are not the Ghundey's who were terrorists in Karachi and then got assylum in US and now drive Cabs in Chicago and houston/Dallas, a great number of pakistani cab drivers in chicago were MQM's ACTIVE people in Karachi and after murdering/Vandalizing/kiddnapping they did in Karachi, they ended up here in chicago and got Assylums and started driving cabs. It is in my knowledge that a large sum of $$ is sent by these MQM people driving taxi in chicago in return for them using the MQM card to get citizenship in US

Two things that we have seen and heard from Imran Khan; MQM are terrorists and Sita White case is personal. After this, he sits with MMA, shakes hand with Kazi Hussain and Fazl. He has declared his alliance with Nawaz Sharif, who mastermind the case of Sita White. If it was not for Nawaz Sharif's personal money and private investigators, Los Angles court would not have made that verdict.
MQM have been winning election in Karachi since '92. They won the election in '93, when army was present. '02 was a breakthrough and recently filmstars from Syed Noor, Omar Sharif to Syed Kamal have joined the party. It will be interesting to see how this campaign is going to affect them in election.
Good thing is that our politics have taken a new medium. Once it was discussed in gatherings, now it is news papers, television and web. Problem is they have brought their dirty laundry with them. Some will argue, it is part of politics. Look at 2000 and 2004 Presidential Election in the States. Fair enough, but they should also make time to discuss issues regarding average Pakistanis.

MQM has made alliance with every party, NS, PP and military.
Imran has rightly made alliance with parties that want a return to democratic government and he has rightly picked the worst party to hit out at that is MQM. If Kanjars are joining MQM, good, let them wiggle their behinds in London.

Well ofcourse this wouldn't be new to him but the sad thing is how low people can go. All these people supporting Altaf can't just accept the fact that he is mass murderer. It is just a shame.
