Hiya! I’m a Brit (of Pakistani origin) who came to Pakistan and fell in love with a Pakistani (or rather my parents did for me) and I got married.
What’s the procedure for taking her home to Britain with me and getting her a British citizenship?
I came to Pakistan about a year ago, before I came here I worked for the same company for about 5 years, then I left my permanent job and they took me on as bank staff (extra staff for when there is a absence/shortage of permanent staff) so that I’ve got a job for when I return to Britain.
Can I import my wife to Britain without a permanent job?
Will my company have a record of my payslips for the past few years as I’ve trashed them all?!

I dun see any problem in this case, you are a British national and you have a right to bring your spouse to Britian.
I take you are still living in Pakistan? The best option for you would be to visit British consulate with your wife and seek advice. As for the payslips and other stuff, Inland revenue has all the record of your taxes and NI contribution. Since you are not in UK, I take you are not on benefits, and even if you are you can still apply on human rights grounds.
BTW yes u should be able to get her a visa, but it will take time. I think they need to c 6 months of payslips, and a letter from the employer saying that u r working / will have a job with them when u get back, paying this much salary.
Also u will need to show that u have accomodation in uk in which u can house your spouse without resorting to public funds. Then they need to know that your income will cover your housing and living costs etc.
U may be better off coming back to the uk and be in a job while your wife applies. Forms r downloadable from gov website.
If u r a troll, the i will call the billy goat to trip trap over the bridge.
Anyone else have anything helpful instead of just random gibberish like the rest of you are giving me?!
alig_reinvented I have nothing to do with India, infact I despise them.
You'll be surprised to know I hate the influence of Indian culture in Pakistan.
Some in Pakistan have linguistic similarities with Punjabi and Hindi speaking people in India but the similarities between the two countries end there. We have nothing in common with the trillion other languages spoken in India or the states that don't border us like the Tamils, Malayalis, Gujaratis etc. who are as different from us as Chinese and Kurds.
I'm even against the enforcement of Urdu in Pakistan primarily because it has roots in India, I'm all for giving regional languages such as Pashto, Balochi, Sindhi, Kashmiri and Punjabi national status in Pak.
I'm Pakistani/British, from a village on the border between Punjab and Pashtunkhwa.
If you think I'm Indian because my name sounds it then don't because Nosherwan was a Persian king.
Your ID just made me want to go out and get some Multani halwa.
I think we should arrange a guppy meetup in ISB to prove I’m Pakistani. Infact anyone who is from ISb can confirm I’m Paki without meeting. The entrance to Lake View Point says “Safely Drive Please” instead of “Please drive safely”, we have bad English See only a Paki could tell you that.
