Ladies , why this idea of importing a dulha from motherland gets a HUGE . . . NOOOOOooo ? Means seriously its not a bad idea at all , and its not that people are not doing it . You see male doctors being imported all the time . Works like a charm . They get their USMLE , residency , and they are all set . I know couple of guys who are doctors , imported to north America , working there , married , and perfectly happy .
Somehow women living in America / UK still think that guys from back home won’t be able to fit in . Again wrong . I know guys literally fresh of the plane and talking to me in (almost) perfect American accent . We should realize that media has changed a lot of things in Pakistan .
He only wants Green-card . This is the hardest part . But again so is the guy who drinks , do clubbing and sleep around , and only marrying you for moola . You have to trust someone at some point in time . Plus a guy with no financial / legal security will think twice before doing it .
So let me close my arguments by saying that a well educated Pakistani man is a perfect fit for American/British culture , and women shouldn’t be afraid to import them as husbands .
btw, can you sketch the average unmarried desi girl lifestyle in America?
i mean how much independent are we that we can afford a freshie, who is also willing to restart his career?
Is someone wanting to be imported back to America?
The doctors… I’d say in most of the marriages that I know of between a US citizen girl and a Pakistani citizen guy, the guy is a doctor. Probably because the guy can speak English very well. He has less loans, if any, so more stability. Once he passes those USMLEs and gets into a residency, he starts making money (whereas those who went to med school in the US have to suffer debt for several years).
'imported dulha', 'imported dulhan', haven't you guys had enough? :P
Party pooper . . . chal nus ja . . . gal karan day . :p

Don't you think America is a land of opportunities . I know from experience that American companies do hire Pakistani guys directly from Pakistan . Depending on their skills its really easy for them to get a job here .
@NaMaan: when you will start your business as “dulha exporter” from pakistan - would you also help those guys who are looking to import dulhan from pakistan .. ^o) ..
I dont kow about america, but in canada i think spouce needs to show that he/she can afford the expenses of their better half (if he-she is importing) for three years.
ps. kher, when ever any good proposal (that my parents approve) come in my way, i do Istakhara. I dont think much about who-what-where-how of the guy. sab mard he aik jaisay ZALIM hotay hain

I don't know love but you sound rather fresh yourself. I never thought I would hear this word "freshie" coming from you.
lol. i was just kidding about zalim. all i was saying was that we all are same, its just the matter of time that swings someones emotion and level them down from human to beast.
