ive just found out that my fiance was involved in a car accident with a truck that hit on the side that he was on :frowning: he’s fractured some bones in his elbow/shoulders and is in hospital now (he cant even move)…so please pray for him. if something worse had happened to him, i dont know how i wouldve lived :frowning:

i didnt know about the accident…it happened this morning when he was coming back with his boss from some meeting in another city. anyway, when i called an hour ago, he was just talking normally…he didnt even tell me about the accident…so i said to him “were u sleeping? you sound different?”…he said no he wasnt sleeping and just changed the subject. then after a while i asked again if hes ok…and he said i have to promise i wont get worried if he tells me. i said i wont and thats when he told me…it happened many hours ago but he didnt tell me cuz he didnt want me to get worried :frowning:
he said hes injuries are less compared to the boss’s and the drivers but still its scary. them trucks in pakistan scare me anyway :frowning: i was crying but he kept saying hes ok and then the phone got cut off.
when i tried calling now after an hour, there was no answer so he must be sleeping. i’ll let him rest now and will call in the morning. I pray all 3 of them are ok.

Inshallah he'll make a full recovery. Ameen.

My mamu had a horrific 70mph into a concrete pillar crash in Pakistan a few years back and the doctors there fixed him up just fine. You can't tell that anything ever happened to him, alhumdillah.

I'm really sorry to hear that.

InshaAllah, he'll be fine.

Hang in there.

Re: Important: Please Read

I wonder why such bad accidents happen in Pakistan. earlier this year my Headteacher from school went pakistan. he had a really bad accident and had alot of head injuries. the scary thing about driving is that u can easily lose your life for someone elses mistake.
and the ironic thing is that i used to drive fast in the past....but **he **told me that i shouldnt drive so fast....and ever since then i dont go above the speed limit cuz i just remember what he told me about not going fast and i made a promise with him that i wont.

i hope he gets well soon.

Re: Important: Please Read

A lot of it is people not wearing seatbelts. Seatbelts can allow you to walk away almost unharmed from many accidents that would other be fatal.

But in Pakistan, there tends to be the attitude that whatever Allah wills will happen anyway so wearing a seatbelt or not will make no difference…

Also, it just uncool and not normal to wear seatbelts there.

Re: Important: Please Read

^ I agree. When I went to Pakistan, I fastened my seatbelt and my driver gave me a weird look. I knew why he gave me the look but I didn't say anything and kept my belt fastened.

Inshallah, he’ll be fine :flower1:
