doesn’t marriage show a responsibility and commitment? Can you present a statistic where out of wedlock children could get attention of both the parents for a longer time as compared to married couples. Out of wedlock relationships lacks commitment and will to take responsibility. Marriage is not a guarantee, but atleast it shows commitment.

Besides that, we were talking of religion, and people who follow any of the religion in world don’t want to be indulged in out of wed lock relationships. no?

Commitment to what? Do you know what divorce rate is in the US? Its around 50%. Do you know married people also cheat on their spouses?

So, life does not operate in a perfect line.
