One thing i dont understand is people without complete and proper knowledge of islam come up and pass baseless comments

i can understand that muslims think performing arts - dance, music, acting - are not good, and consider it a big no-no for their kids and family in general to get into.

what i can’t understand is why there is no taboo on watching any of these. if you can indulge in these “vices” on a daily basis and still be considered a decent person, at least have the courtesy to appreciate these professions as legitimate, and give the artists their due respect.
