How do you feel the technological advance impact developing countries?

I’ll post two images, to show the stark difference from where we were as a world, to where we have come even for developing nations.

The first picture is obviously what a well-off business person would have in any given country. Then you look at what is perhaps a common sight in any given country now. But, we’ll focus on Pakistan. While the ultra rich were holding on to brick phones for novelty purposes, or to communicate. The common was writing letters to loved ones across the country/world.

Has the technology benefited the public, or degraded the development of all age groups?

Personally, I feel Pakistan is always behind the curve; just reactionary. What I would love to see develop in Pakistan is a sense of future-education. That is, to start to educate the public of coming changes, technologies, etc. So, that when a tide of change hits the globe, the public is already aware of and somewhat prepared. I’m almost certain that if public was educated on the coming changes that we’re seeing now, there would have been a better use of the technologies available.

i don’t understand you, in your view technology should not be common or poor should not be able to use cell phones because its only rich people right.
