Coolguy, I don't need abu bakr, or umar in quran, because I DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR WAYS. EVEN abu bkr and umar follow the ways of MOHAMMAD THE PROPHET OF ALLAH. I ONLY NEED QURAN AND SUNNAH OF PROPHET MOHAMMAD TO follow and to be called a Muslim. I do not need some fabricated hadiths, and fabricated verses from one of the books which have been known to be alter with and books which have gone under human corruption(bibles, kafi, etc.)

Anyway thanks a lot for taking out the time to type all that but as you see that ayat 2:124 you posted has absolutely NO refference to Hazrat Ali(r.a.) or imams etc.So the mention of them in Quran is still not established.Once again this quranic verse does not even specify descendants of Hazrat Ismael(A.S.)rather it is general and so it would seem it is an even weaker argument in context then your bible quote.

If you are referring to Hazrat Ali Razi Allah Ta'aala Anhu then the way you are trying to place him on a pedestal high above everything else is not okay at all.
There is a very thin line between Bid'ah & Aqeedah. After reading your writup claiming about Hazrat Ali that there had been a prophecy in the bible something had been mentioned which tells that your Imam Ali is going to be the saviour or something clearly shows me that you are doing a higher degree of Bid'ah here. Our religion Islam stands different from other religions because of its monotheistic nature that teaches us that there is no god but God(Allah). There is no room for "Shirk" in Islam. This is a very straight-forward religion and keep it that way in order to make it a way of life for this life and hereafter.
Alhamdullillah I am a Sunni Muslim. There is no ifs & buts in Sunni Islam dogma. Other sects like shiiaism, smailism, qadyanism can't realy cuse any harm to Sunni Islam but make it more stronger since people make a compariosn and choose the right one.
I am open to any types of debates or challenges without having any intentions to instigate a never-ending bickering.
