Regarding religion and homosexual love/lust. Please show us where in the Quran it makes the difference.

The human genome contains only around 35,000 genes. That is way too small a number to possibly assign 1 gene per trait or determining a "gay" gene. Its rather the make up of your entire genome that can influence your sexual inclination. There are so many factors that are at play when it comes to this. Would it be so bad to explore the opposing side of something you have believed all your life? You don't have to believe it, just have the knowledge.

As for the Quran outlining whether homosexuality is permissible or not, its not written in black and white. The beauty of the Quran is that its interpretation lies in its reader.

Discussing the Quran in any light is NOT a sin. Where did you guys get that? Discussion promotes understanding and understanding promotes knowledge. Its not taboo to speak about controversial subjects while refering to the Quran. Wake up people.If you hold something so sacred that you can't access it, whats the point?? In interpreting something, theres a few different ways you can take it. I only meant that not everything you read will translate the same to another person. I'm pretty sure treating your fellow humans with respect and courtesy doesn't translate to: kill anyone. But if thats what you get out of it, then God be with you.

My opinion only but I think this could be one of the most difficult situations to be in especially if this tt has had these feelinsg from a young age..

I respect that in islam it is forbidden as are many other things.. adultery/boyfriends/girlfriends/alcohol so not sure why we can bash on on and on about how wrong it is..

I think what if one of my family members was gay.. I wouldn't be able to comprehend the hell and the confusion they must be going through..

As being born a muslim, there is no way you would choose to be gay..

I say keep faith and remember none of us Gupshuppers have right to judge when we make errors daily.. every hour.. possibly every minute..

^I just think its common sense... why would someone chose to be gay? Why chose to be ostracized by society just for fun? Why chose to be gay because you're "bored" with the norm? Who would do something like that? No one wants to be made fun of, removed from acceptance and cast as a freak. Its obviously something that they can't help.

For some its too hard to think outside their black and white boxes and thats why they have a hard time accepting something that isn't exactly what they are. Everyone is different people... get used to it!

In other words The Scholars in islam are known as the Authorities in Knowledge.

And of the millions of schoalars throughout past and present you will find no scholar who differeniates in the issue of Gayness and its Prohibition in Islam.
