i think that we need to have 'something' in our heads to be 'good/pretty' rather than concentratng on faces and outfits..the faces each of us have is the BEST one that Allah SWT chose for us..do we still have to interfere and mess up with His creation?

Pakistanis (overwhelmingly, and about 75% of Indians too) are of the Caucasoid gene type. We have straight noses, not flat types.

There are only 3 racial types, Negroid, Mongolid and Caucasoid. Unless you are a tiny minority within a Pakistani context, you will have caucasoid features.

:k: I totally agree with what uve said groovy chick. We all have hang ups. This should b ur happiest time-uve just got engaged. Theres always some1 out there whos a thousand times more worse off than u. U shud count ur blessings. Doesnt ur guy make u feel like the most amazing woman in the world? Obviously he doesnt otherwise u wudnt consider all this stuff. If he made u feel like that u wouldnt CARE abt anything else. some ppl r physically scarred for allsorts of reason thru accidents etc. Mashallah theres nothing wrong with u. Nose jobs can go wrong (look at micheal jackson). When i was younger i used to be very insecure abt my looks but u have to learn to make the best of what uve got.
Im a fitness instructor and teach and go on courses where some of the women r model perfect and i know that im not physically like that cos i have had a baby. I could afford to go and have a tummy tuck if i wanted to but im happy with how i am. I dont mean to b nasty or cause offence. I just want u to realise that every1 in 1 way or another has hang ups but u have to learn to deal with it and going under the knife isnt always the best option.

Instead of going for something as drastic as surgery to make yourself feel pretty...just pamper yourself...
Treat yourself to a spa day and facials now and again...get your hair done...have some professional pics taken...guaranteed you'll feel like a million dollars...you just need some TLC love :)

I know sometimes i feel that way too...i have a pretty big nose...and its crooked (beat that! Lol jk)...but not only im a freaaaknn scared to go under the knife...but i just think it doesn't define REAL beauty...i dont want something fake--i want something real...and if people are gonna judge me cause ive got a messed up nose or whatever...than they're ignorant and stupid and obviously aren't the type of ppl who want to get to know ME...

Why would you feel like that...You are stunning....Why r u getting feelings like that...how is your fiance treating you...I really believe that keeping longer engagements is a very good way of finding out if u r compatible with another person....
You do not need any plastic surgery watso ever....its not like u were in a car accident thingy or something...Do u know about the risks of such procdures...no amount of Plastic surgery can fix the inside problems...Be true to yourself....

maybe you need the nose job the lips are fine!! =) and get whitining cream, you'll look great!! just to make you feel good its natural to have a long, big nose, alot of pakistani's have that common trait!! its all about your roots!!

i have only tried fair n lovely and it was hard for me to keep up with so i just went “watever” with it =) i highly doubt you can get anything off the counter and expect it to work just go to a consultant!!!

^^ So Gucci is merely a figure of speech then.....considering the reality of things ...do u have an idea of wat it takes ??? mor then money...it requires a person to go through!!!...Its just things easier said then done!!!...and all for wat??? Vanity...no amount of plastic surgery can fill in wat a person is lacking from the inside...my love ...think abut it kiddo:)

i think u look real pretty u dont need to fix ur self up and everyone else think so too,, but if getting a surgery will make u feel better u can go ahead but i heard once u do it u want to keep doin more and more, if u look at someone beautiful then u u will always find what u dont have, if u look someone under u i think u will have more beauty and thank god for wat u have, be proud of what u r not change them for what other have, believe me u look so good in ur engagement pic,,,, rest its up to u ,,, tc

Pakifairy i think the nose surgery takes about 6 months to fully heal. The sweeling doesn;t completely go for about 6 month. Make sure it doesn;t clash with ur wedding. Bigger upperlip? i don;t think they have a surgery to enlarge the lips ordo they? i thought botox was the only solution for that which has to be redone every 3 months if i am not mistaken. If u still decide to get the procedures done make sure you do your research and go to a very reputable. you don;t want to end up with lopsided lips.
Do you really really believe that u need these procedures? is it for self-esteem or what? is ur fiance for it too? he got engaged to you as you are so make sure you consult him before making permanent changes to your appearance too.
