Im a bad explainer :bummer:

Re: I'm back with a dilemma...

Well you do write about the positive experiences. Oxford sounds better than Medsim. Which do you think will attract someones attention?

Re: I’m back with a dilemma…

def. OXford :emmy: it’ll look cool on your admission applications.

Re: I'm back with a dilemma...

Go for Oxford. You can always keep in touch with old friends and at the same time make new friends. Oxford will look superb on your resume.

Re: I'm back with a dilemma...

Oxford! Don't waste a precious opportunities just because you want to hang out with friends.

PS: don't feel guilty that you got in and your friend didn't. one thing i've learned, you have to watch out for yourself first, your own education and career goals, and not let friends get in the way of that.

Re: I’m back with a dilemma…

Well, I spoke to my tutor first, and he was like…speak to the principal, but I am sure the principal will advise you to go to Oxford. So I was like okay…went to the principal…and he straight away said, you’re going to have to tell them you won’t be coming to oxford. I was taken aback…I didn’t expect him to say that -

But we are going on a one night trip to Cambridge…and his argument was that, that would be a good experience in its own…and we’d be able to do punting and stuff :halo:

However, its common knowledge that our principal is biased towards Cambridge because most of the people from our college apply to Cambridge rather than Oxford - I don’t know what his reasons for that are though :bummer:

I am kind of gutted but my teachers were like - he knows best :bummer: and he has put a lot of students through the application process.

SO, looks like I am going to Medsim then.

The end.

Re: I’m back with a dilemma…
