One thing I'd advise you to remember for your future is never let a teacher or principal in your case dishearten you. If you have belief in your ability then work hard and leave the rest onto Allah. My guidance co-ordinator once told me don't bother going to uni + I got a lot of stick when I had just arrived from A.K., but all thanks to Allah I showed him and a couple of other secondary school teachers.

Some of my cousins went on Medsim and they said it wasn't that good from what I can remember.

If it was me I'd go to Oxford any day of the week. It will look so good on your UCAS application compared to Medsim, which tonnes of potential medical students that you are competing against will have.
