As I don't have kids I can't really say but I would choose american. My cousin wore a pant suit a year ago when he was 2/3 yrs old, and he looked adorable!

my cousin’s 2 year old son was walking around wearing those namazi-topees…i joked to his grandfather taht he should wear a red checkered scarf (cz hes half arab :D)

Don't worry. He had a tie that he had a lot of fun with according to my mamoo.... so cute mA ut reaaaaal sherarti! He has an innocent look that you should never fall for!

I really wouldn't care. Whatever floats a kid's boat is what she/he can wear. Unless if she slapped on something that i wouldn't make her leave the house in, anything is fine.
Western clothing are nice for informal parties/gatherings/visits. Shalwar Kameez can be for parties/family gatherings/etc.

Little girls in coats- like real sophisticated winter coats, so very cute. I'm gonna have a full selection of coats someday when I have mine iA.

Depends what desi clothes… I wear shalwar kameez that need 24 meters of cloth… i’m not fat or anything… it’s just for the imperial dress i wear which requires three pieces and a long robe over the top… very regal :cobra:
Some folk make do with 2 meters 
I love my robes but i seem to be the only guy who likes them…
plain Shalwar kameez make me look like a peasant anyway 
I wear western clothes too but they dont have the awe inspiring effect… although my gorra neighbour thought i was a samurai becuase my desi dress looked so authentic which i guess it is.
At the end of th day it’s up to the kids.
