I agree man, and also the idea of racial purity that some people adhere to is totally non-sense. Ultimately there should be no pakhtun, punjabi, sindhi or baluchi, just one nation under the banner of Pakistan, governed by Islamic laws. Thats the ideal Pakistan.

wow , thats a change, usually pakistanis in pakistan say that pakistani expats or ppl of pakistani origins living abroad need to do more or thatthey dont do enough or that pakistan is in the shape that it is because of people living abroad.

If Pakistanis aborad can not have a say, then they can not be blamed for the problems in pakistan or expected to solve it for the people living thgere who have created these problems or further expanded the problems generation after generation.

Ok let me remind you what this thread is about. This thread is about Pakistan, holding the largest number of refugees (afghanis) in the 80s, who are now a burden to its economy and have become illegal immigrants. With these immigrants came the klashinkov culture, drugs, smuggling, etc. We are talking about kicking out these immigrants so that the strain on our economy is lifted, once and for good, and your little theory about culture unity isnt strong enough to destroy our own country to let some illegal immigrants have their own way.

I agree with you, I know I have my moments when I talk of Pashtun nationalism but Paki nationalism is far too ingrained inside me so yeah I support a pan-Paki Pakistan with Urdu as it’s language and a homogenous culture.

Encourage Urdu, encuorage inter-ethnic marriages, encourage migration from province to province, the result of such marriages is the child is neither completely Punjabi nor Pashtun or Karachian so naturally he identifies most with his Pakistani identity, just imagine if we all thought like that, our country would be great.

Ethnicity, tribalism, castes etc. al need to be removed from Paki scoiety because they belong in the stone age not in the modern world.

What have these scruffy morons living in caves and shanty towns got to offer us except a certain language and archaic ways? Nothing but poverty for us and our future generations..

Yep, but Paris bibi here doesnt know much, she can be excused. According to her, all students studying abroad, guest workers working abroad, diplomats serving their country by going to other countries, have no say in whats happening in their country lol.

Afghan refugees are not all equal. some are bad some are good like any group. Although refugee status means that once the reason for someone being a refugee is over they go back, being a refugee is a temporary state.

now for immigrants, there are legal and illegal ones, legal ones have teh same rights and responsibilities as Pakistanis and if they are not bothering anyone and living their life then why bother them,let them be. they have to abide by the same laws as everyone else.

for illegal ones, you can classify them as refugees and send back with refugees now that afghanistan is sorting itself out.

Its not being racist or prejudiced, but simply how these things work. If there are circumstances for refugees or illegal immigrants where they need to gain amnesty and become legal immigrants then there should be a process to review theri cases and decide.

First of all, who are you to revoke their nationalities. Secondly, they are free to think about their own country, its their right, and they have the freedom to think about it. Lastly, they send ALOT of revenue back home, through foriegn exchange which really matters to the country. And yeah, its not like they are sitting in the parliament abroad making decisions about their country, they are just like any other ordinary pakistani sitting in pakistan when it comes to making decisions about the country.

they mean financially!! money needs to be invested into pak economy to make the country self sufficient...and expats could do that

IF they would do that more...thy would be in right position to want political changes according to their views

a better idea is to suspend the citizenship rights for those in Pakistan who are breaking laws, cheating on taxes, using cheap tactics to bribe ppl to save on phone and power bills.

I guess we will not have many citizens living in pakistan then. what percentages rights would be lost?

french have bad immigrants cause they treat them bad
american have smart immigrants cause they plan immmigrantion smartly

#1 go and check how much foriegn exchange pakistan gets due to teh same ppl abroad whom you are so quick to dismiss as having no rights

32- remember when you local homegrown politicians (read: nawaz shareef) forcefully cobverted people’s nest eggs in foriegn currnecy into Pakistani currency at horrible rates, while the influentials in Pakistan were able to take their foriegn curerncy accts out.

what do u think of when u see pakistanis abroad? pampered ppl like docs and busienss folks making bundles overseas? u realize that majority of the peopel abroad are worker types in middle east, whom we failed as a nation to provide educationa nd opportunities to, and now when they are overseas, workign hard to make a life and to make the lives of their nexty generation better, someone with zero to little info can sit on a comfy chair in some leafy burb and propose to take away their rights just because they are not in Pakistan.

I thought I had read it all. But there are always surprises.

Rude? If they break the law, then what Mr. Fraudia suggested makes perfect sense. The thing that I dont like about the refugees is that none of them appreciate the trouble Pakistan has undergone for their plight. If you talk to the elderly people in Pakistan, they would tell you how their advent really changed Pakistan considerably.
