When you are working towards a larger cause such as restoring true democracy, upholding judiciary etc. you sometimes have to take painful and harsh decisions in life and that’s exactly what Imran is doing, getting all parties to boycott this sham election and unite against Mush. If as a result of all this struggle, a strong and independent judiciary and true democracy gets restored in the long run then BB’s corruption is a small price to pay for our nation.

Keep Justifying his statements. Write a whole page letter on it. In the end he is still like others double standards. Mere bhai, sub nangey hainis himam mein and he is no exception.**

He is basically saying “free the judiciary…but we’ll stop the free judiciary if it goes after BB”. What sort of stupid logic is that? A free judiciary is free - period. Who is Imran to pick and choose what cases it can hears or not? This once and for all shows Imran is lying when he says is fighting for a free judiciary because he is not, he is just about hating Musharraf, and that’s all there is to his whole political programme.

He is also using the most vile language against those judges who have chosen to take the PCO. Pathetic.

Mush pardoned BB's corruption for his own political gain

Imran is willing to pardon BB (not for his own sake) only if she is willing to work towards the larger cause of restoring true democracy and independent judiciary

Corruption for democracy is just like an anti-war protester put it (in a protest in DC)

war for peace is like fking for virginity :)

and beside that you can always argue that Mush made a deal with BB and let NS comeback for the sake of democracy .......

To bring all the dogs and *****es of opposition together, one needs to throw a bone. What would be the most attractive option for Benazir to boycott the election? Imran thought if he promises corruption clearance then he may have a chance to bring her on his side. Not that she will come nor he will be able to do anything for her but one things is for sure..the is corrupt and Imran wanted to point out that known fact. He didn't need to.

Deal or no deal, Mush welcomed BB and NS back for his own political gain. Whether one of them becomes PM or not is the least of his concerns. His main concern is their participation as he knows only then would the forthcoming elections seem credible to his masters in the US and West.

I m afraid same applies to Mush bashers too but just other way round! Opposition leader (specially Immi Bhai) is allowed to do/say whatever in the name of "great cause" but whatever Mush do/say is for his personal gain :)

IF that would be the case, I would have stated clearly that I'm for BB, NS, or any other thugs grand son. This hasn't happen yet. I'm not a basher or trasher of Musharraf. I can't live with those cogitations knowing any of my family members and/or Pak bros/sis would/can disappear at any times.
And that is just one of many reasons.

This latest student rally of Imran's only had a turount of 1000 people - a lot of them PTI activists. Just shows that after one month of Emergency the much touted student rebellion has been a total failure, like other predicted rebellions.
