Try go guess…this guy belongs to the famous Sharif Group. The boss of the group writes an anti-IK column in an Urdu newspaper on daily basis. The second most senior group member also does the same… your time starts now…

^ I am a voter of IK too. I voted in by-elections, when all the burger bachay were going on about themselves.
Thing is, it is good to hope that masses will vote for him,,but that is happening only in cities. You can not deny the realities of rural pakistan. I vote for him, and i will motivate others to do the same,, but go tell that to a chaudhry in vehari who knows the N/PPP candidate for 20 years to go and vote for unknown IK candidate...i think you know the response.
I agree with what ever you are saying, personally I feel PPP would be routed in the next elections. It would be PMLN versus PTI. The drawback that PTI used to have until recently was that it was not present on the grass root level, now they have presence to the local council level. Imran Khan has finally marketed his party as the third force in the politics. Till the previous elections PMLN have been taking votes on scare tactics, if you dont vote for us PPP will come to power. But the previous five years has shown that there's no difference between the two parties. Youth, disenfranchised voters, minorities, shias and those who are not satisfied with the two main stream parties etc would play an important in the next elections.

I have my suspicion on two people, but I’d go with **Mr. Potato Head **for now. 
His columns are overflowing with hate against Imran Khan day in and day out in the Urdu newspaper. And he has a senior boss too that just can’t seem to get enough of Big Noony.

I can't seem to understand IK's obesession with JI. They're not a big party plus PTI supporters are not inclined with JI politics. He still is making mistakes, which will hurt him. He should just go alone in elections.

Yup. Out of all the people on Nawaz Sharif’s payroll, Irfan Siddiqui earns his thabantu down to the tee.
Every other column of his is overflowing with Imran and PTI bashing, blatant bashing, even.

I have stopped reading his columns for a loong time. Dont like biased reporters even if they are from PTI. Journalists should be neutral.

True, true. But first they have to be journalists. 
I’d have to be push really hard to consider columnists as journalists. Same goes for anchors. Most of these are just Paan Walays (no offense to people that sell betel leaves), some have sweeter paans to offer than others, and people listen to them. The real journalists are in the field, covering things that happen.
But like most things in life, we in Pakistan have made these journalists and anchors our new gods.

JI may not be corrupt but that's not a good enough reason to strike a seat adjustment deal with them!

how can IK talk about freedom of expression, good relationship with india/afghanistan/USA, minorities rights, women rights, end of sectarianism, no jihad or mujahedin in Kashmir or Afghanistan, tolerant syllabus,

only slightly.. why. Let me elaborate. It is not the IJI sort of alliance. It is a seat adjustment. I dont like JI that much but IK had to do something to combat PML-N & JUI-F in KPK. JI is the ONLY religious party by the way who speaks openly against shia killings and minority killings. I know for a fact that there JIhadist wing is dismantled because of ISI's intervention.
Even then, this deal will benefit JI more than PTI.

coming back to the topic: PD I think you are underestimating this jalsa. This was IK's biggest jalsa ever. No doubt about that. Majority is of this view. It was well organised than the last one.
IK is not relying on turncoats and lotas anymore. Specially in urban cities. He is looking to get votes on his electoral symbol bat no matter who the candidate is. In rural areas, he will need to rely on electables. This is his biggest challenge. I also know that he is visiting interior sindh soon to try and sway voters there which is highly unlikely. But then again he is not the one to shy away from a challenge anyway.
My bet is still the same. PTI will win most number of popular votes all over pakistan but not enough seats.. thus highlighting the flaws in our electoral system.

fair enough shoaib....i am the one who is bringing the topic of "electables" and urging the importance of striking a balance between idealism and practicality...so here you go!
everyone on this forum knows where i stand as far my political identity is concerned ...I want a free, secular (at state level), progressive, modern, jihad free, india/USA animosity free pakistan..... so i was obviously disappointed with JI seat adjustment... but we need to be patient with such decisions...
i am even OK if imran adds more "electables" into his party in rural areas...
unless IK comes into power he cannot change anything.....that does not mean he shd do what nawaz has done but he can be more a bit more flexible abt electables in rural areas....otherwise he will never win. i am afraid.
