I think a serious judgmental mistake has been committed by IK and the board of management of SKMH.
There might have been some mistake. If yes then it should be corrected. But I don't see any deliberate attempt to swindle money. No corruption.

As far as I can remember, Mr. Anwar Pasha coined this term an year or so back.
I recall first he used to create threads against “Showbaz Shareef”, and then once PTI became mainstream he came up with the word nirala, as in jiyala.

For the moment they are not admitting these serious flaws about how the Board of Governors could allow such investment to be made in the personal offshore business of one of their board members resulting in a huge loss for the organization.
They must admit these mistakes..

If Kh Asif had spotted something fishy in the working of SKMT, what was the appropriate way to have it addressed? Through a case in SC (he is an expert in filing cases against the government) or a press conference? This way I dont think PMLN has got any political mileage out of it but it could prove detrimental for the hospital.

The worst bit was when Kh Asif said that 'lets first discuss it in media'. Showed what true intentions were.

I respect SKMH.. have donated personally in the past and will donate in future also. But the most respectable course for the management will be to admit their mistakes.. and tell the potential donors how they will improve the investment decision making in future so that such lapses do not occur in future. If they think everything has been done in the best way and they will continue to invest the endowment fund in the future personal adventures-speculations of the board members.. I’ll seriously reconsider my decision if I want to remain a donor in this organization..

If it were not political, it would be fine. NGOs work on trust and you need people to trust SKMTH to keep supporting it. I would support a probe into the way these fishy investments were made and corrective action taken.

There is no intention from the party alleging corruption to go for probe.

First decide whether you want your questions/concerns answered or not. It's not up to me to answer them, its for Imran Khan or SKMH's management and auditors to do that. So if you want all those answers, you aren't going to get them in a "single line statement".
Agar IK samne aa kar clarification na karta tub bhi apne kehna tha hmm something fishy...
He said in the press conference that there's going to be another press conference tomorrow I believe with the board of members of SKMH... so let's wait for that, shall we.

It's a plain and simple case of business loss. The most prestigious institutions like Harvard and Stanford also lost money of their endowment funds when they invested in real estate sector while it peaked and crashed throughout the world. It all happened in the presence of their consitutions that allow only A-grade investments. IK is not a member of the endowment board committee which takes investment decisions and there is always a reason to believe the guy who has been your biggest donor.
If there is anything still any bit good about this country, IK and SKMT are surely two of them. Anyone averse to reality can take an exception. Khawaja Asif has only increased my trust in IK and SKMT.
