For posters you either dislike or disagree with, is it better to put them on ignore or is it better to see what they have to say/write?

I disagree with people all the time, but if someone has a different point of view, it does not make me dislike them.
Plus that should not be reasons to put someone on ignore. Unless he/she is has been very rude to you.
Did try the ignore option once (for fun :D ). It only hides the message of the other and you can unhide it right away if you want.

I have a couple on my ignore list and trust me I am better off from seeing what they are barking about. I care less.

I care less about their barking and get no pleasure out of their company , so they can bark all they want and I care less. 
Don’t say anything more if you do not want to end up on my ignore list. 
And if you do not like my musings , you are free to put me on your ignore list too.

I try to put my point acorss to that person. If we still cannot agree, we both have a right to have difference of opinions. No two persons are forced to agree with each other and we should just respect others point of views.
If people write harsh words, yes I do ignore them

I don't think I've disliked anyone on GS so much that I've had to consider the ignore button option. If I don't like someone I usually just don't pay attention to them.

actually I am more closer to being a dictator than a director. I know my weaknesses, but I can tell you honestly, if you were at my place, sometimes you would also act like one. Its just the nature of this job.
