The comment was with reference to the women who do not work. The intention behind my comment was simple. Lets reverse the thinking. You are a working woman and say your husband is a stay at home dad. Would you be okay with you coming home from work and going straight into the kitchen?

I ask this as it is a common refrain amongst working women that they have jobs too so why should they be expected to come home and go straight into the kitchen? You I assume agree with the sentiment?

I shall wait for someone to get annoyed with my usage of the word work and ask if i am implying housewives don’t do any work.

Even if a woman is not working outside her home, she shouldn’t be forced into making roti if she absolutely doesn’t like it. A man will not die with a roti from the grocery store, tandoor, or restaurant.
