With all due respect to the posters here, RC could either be popular and polite (by our standards), or he could live up to his nick. Apparently he has chosen the option to cut the crap and give it all straight up - and of course we dont like how that sounds. Instead of hating him for his tone, try to listen to what he has to say. He is not a god and not always right, but he sure as hell is not always trying to sugar coat his views either. We may not always agree with his views, and I am sure he is not here to win any support, but I find some very crisp, clear and robust ideas in his posts.

Jay, there is a huge difference between a reality check and disrespect. The problem most people have with this child is his lack of respect for other posters...shows immaturity...holier-then-thou attitude. A mature person makes his/her point clearly and consicely without looking like he needs a Miss Manners class. If he was doing fine on his own, you wouldnt have to come to his defense but he isnt. He is offensive, annoying and some of his posts are plain VILE. Because of the nature of his posts, his points are lost. No one wants to read rubbish like that. His posts get either skimmed over quickly OR picked on...like right now.

And since he is on a forum full of people like you and I...our standards for respect apply...he should learn to respect the people he is choosing to respond to...otherwise dont post. Respect is not crap...its imperative when communicating with your fellow Muslims...something he isnt used to.

He needs to fix his attitude with people here...he is NOT good at arguing/discussing diddly squat with posters (contrary to what he thinks)...no "crushing people with knowledge"...just bakwas.

Ironically, Reality Check is living in LaLa Land...where his posts are considered flashes of brilliance when in REALITY...its the opposite. Snap out of it.

Yes all ladies including amir_pindi and gr8hero, please calm down and let the guy be. Ganging up is not good, dont do to others what you dont like done to yourself.

okay reality check, i think you should disappear and come back with a new nick...obviously you had views that were derisive to many many women.... Just learn from it- learn how women contributed to Islam, and don't make the same mistake again...consider it a learning exprience...

I dont mean no disrespect to anyone but gr8hero will agree with every woman no matter what, and amir_pindi's first bollywood style entry (his very first post) pretty much gave up on what he is all about, makes me laugh every time.

Alright lets not drag me into this mess now, at least let me get done with my work.

Yeah, I guess we did get upset...but rightly so. No one likes to be disrespected and thats what I feel happens once RC enters the discussion...the level of respect - especially for women - takes a plunge!
