erm...face to face i think is the best way, although a hand written letter sealed with candle wax would be very very nice. :)

I did it once by e-mail, and I regret it. It was such a chicken of a move.
Oh, I also wrote a letter to a boy way back in the 8th grade - he was in 7th grade and he was a son of one of my mom’s friends and I had lost touch with him like when i was 7 
So, I wrote him a little letter, because our classes were so far apart and it was hard to pull him aside and talk to him.
He thought I was hitting on him 
Best is face to face, then all the cards are out on the table. And facial expressions and eye contact tell a lot.
Can't say anything unless I go through the situation but as far as I know myself I don't think I would've told the person.
In reality, he was the one to tell me what all those changes I had been going through meant which was really stupid of me...and he had already told me through an email.

Hand written letter sprinkled with perfume ending with a silly non ryhming yet thoughtful poem written my moi.
I’d deliver it myself and then go home and wait and wait for a reply, a call or until the next meeting.
Well to be honest it ended in disaster…he totally humiliated me..this was back when I was a total tom boy short hair and no feminine features what so ever. Let’s just say I was never more humiliated and hurt in my life..but it’s cool… I did it and I don’t regret it…but he sure does now :D

Whatever feels right...depends on your relationship with that person...are u guys long distance?? do u talk ont he phone/email more?? that kinda stuff... its now how or where or when you say it...but its WHAT you say... i know that sounds cliche...but its the truth!!
