I heard this happened with a married man who went away from his wife and daughter to a hotel to have sex with a prostitute. He called an escort agency to send over a girl, only to discover that the girl they sent him was his daughter.
I knew her pout in an instant, I knew the curve of her face.
It was only my lovely daugther, and she said "Dad?!?! Chit!"
So, the song played on the radio a few minutes ago. And if you pay attention to the lyrics....it's about a married couple that cheats on each other...with one another. The woman puts an add in the newspaper and her own husband ends up responding to it. The song has a happy ending.....but it got me thinking....what would you do if you were in that situation? Now, I know that the chances of that happening are slim.....but would you feel offended or flattered?
Discuss.
ok.
2 am on wednesday, hubby and wife sleeping in bed. wifey has a dream and yells out: "runnn! my hubby is coming up the front door!"
startled hubby quickly runs out of the house through the back door as fast as he can.
One of my best friends actually did something like this to her boyfriend to see if he was cheating. She basically set up a fake number and a fake facebook account to cyberstalk him. and then pretended to be some girl he met on a night out, and asked him to meet her in a hotel room. When he turned up, he said that he knew all along that it was her.
I dunno what was more effed up, the fact that she was paranoid enough to do the whole thing, or that he was dumb enough to turn up.
That was 4 years ago. They're still together now :(
^Yeah but it’s usually the same content with CM…whether or not he should pursue some (Afghani or otherwise) wench, or some rant about Guppans/women, or a vent about how men can do women’s jobs (giving birth and PMSing) much better…and then he just alternates those topics interspersing them with sammiches and stars. Comprehension is greater when there is consistency and that’s what CM provides. When one provides you variety (the pina colada)…it’s just too hard to understand. Shame. :hinna:
Dopple, I wasn't trolling. The song was on the radio and it got me thinking about what one would do if they were in that situation. It doesn't even have to be placing an ad in the paper. Let's say (as it does in Mad Hatter's post) that you create a fake username to fool around with other people behind your SO's back. But the person you're flirting with, you later find out, IS your partner who had the same intentions as you. What would you do? Feel flattered that your SO fell for you again....and maybe use this point to give the relationship another shot...or take a break...or just end it?
