This post would be relevant if Veenaji is a an official representative of religion. To use your own words, “The matter is strictly between the person and her God, and the people directly affected by it”. So I take it it really is none of our business.

No I don’t see her as a representative of Islam, my post was only for some part time internet mullhas who were using Islam to bash Imran’s well into the past and strictly private life, yet bickering the mantra of personal life/private life to defend Veena’s actions. Why use Islam for thing but not for another?
