As with Islam, lets not pick and choose. Islam clearly tells you to conceal others wrong doings, do not publicise them in public. An act of zina committed behind the four walls is none of your business, Islam gives you no right to publicly b**** about it, unless you happen to be a witness whose testimony is needed for a legitimate cause. The matter is strictly between the person and Allah, and the people directly affected by it. That goes for anyone who is sickeningly obsessed with Veena or Imran’s private (read bedroom) life.

This post would be relevant if Veenaji is a an official representative of religion. To use your own words, “The matter is strictly between the person and her God, and the people directly affected by it”. So I take it it really is none of our business.
