Lets analyze this.

• Goal was to destroy the Orion planes, used for sea defenses. They were not interested in any other planes parked there

• Goal was to strike and take Chinese hostage and terrorists were very determined to do that

• The terrorists were equipped with the state of the art weaponry that Saudis can only dream of. They knew the every small detail about the base that an average Jihadi can only day-dream.

1. Our remaining Orions are currently being serviced in the US, and the US is selling us 5 more by the end of next year. By the end of this year, 3 of our Orions will be returned from servicing in the US, and 2 more modern Orions will be delivered. The Orions have spent most of their time in service over the past couple of years under US command as part of the coalition task force patrolling the Arabian sea to combat piracy and the smuggling of heavy arms by sea to the Taliban. It would make no sense for the country that you are trying to blame to destroy 2 orions and then give us 5!

2. China is denying that any of its citizens were taken hostage. And US engineers were on the base as well, why are you not assuming that they were targets in the same way as chinese were?

3. Saudis have the most advanced weapons in the world outside of the USA. Because they buy all of the most advanced equipment that the USA allows for export.
