No, unless the situation escalates and there’s no other way to deal with it. The MIL hasn’t said anything directly to her but she just feels left out? Could it be because they’re not even living in the same country? It’s hard to make one feel like they’re part of family and have the same connection when you’re living in different parts of the world.
