2-Would your moving pattern be any different ? Say no dollars in picture, which countries you would have moved to, and why?
Inspired by a story::
1970 or 72 , A 16 year old became king of bhutan, when he was asked how would increase gross national product.
He said I gross national product ? I want gross national happiness to grow.
Since they invited may scientists to work on it.
Are you trying to say..if money isn't the reason, what would your reason be to move out of Pakistan? And would that reason play a part in deciding the country you move to and why?

My reason to move out of Pak? But I don't live in Pak ... but if I did it would have to be because of:
a) To move away from the extended family - LOL - for my wife's peace of mind.
b) To go to a place where women can work without being thought of as loose
The factors to where I would go:
Where it is relatively safe
Where Islamic education is booming
Where the air is clean and there are plenty of natural sites of wonder and beauty
Before the middle east unrest I was thinking of Syria ... now I'm thinking of Malaysia.
Oh and one last reason would be ... if Monk was living in Pak then I would leave to get away from him ...
I have heard the number of women who move from Pakistan generally give up on their jobs unless they are professionals in the fields of medicine IT or engineering. Most stay housewives because of their increasing duties as far as homemaking and raising kids in concerned. Meanwhile in Pakistan due to extended help on the domestic front alot more women are working full time as professionals. How far is that true?
Also mostly people move out of Pakistan because of security, financial and otherwise..owing to the explosive conditions prevailing these days and for a better future of their children.
Though if given a choice, I wouldn't move out of Pakistan on a permanent basis.

Thanks for contextualising Monk's thread ... are you now derailing it? .... Oh go ahead derail it ... I didn't realise we were in All Views ... :)
I have another reason to leave and that is to discipline the kids - Imam Al-Ghazali said that "moving home is one method that we can use to discipline kids ...
