When it comes to compiling of history, most of the recent work has been done in the west, I agree - which is kind of unfortunate if you think of it. I can’t think of any country, but India and maybe Australia, other than west, whose history books one can rely on

Australia is part of the western world.

True that most of the recent history is compiled by the west, but despite from the historical facts it’s never entirely objective.
