Bhai, the dad…despite being a brainiac…is still a flawed, imperfect human being. That said, dad is not going to demonstrate smarts in every single comment/action/decision no matter his high IQ. Questioning the intelligence of the son is like saying that he did not “inherit” the father’s smarts. It also implies that mere inheritance of the trait should make it effortless. The moral values in Islam are not inherited. We have to work upon our character and we were created imperfect by default.
