You know, while muslim women are very aware of what is possible and allowed, sadly enough, we don’t quite like the idea of our husbands having second wives even though it is allowed. It’s just the way we are… it’s hard to share and imagine your husband being in someone else’s bed. I also know that if a man found out his wife liked someone else romantically or was cheating on him, he can give her a divorce in a few seconds. However, the guy can marry his mistress and make it all halal.

So yeah, there are some sad realities and we just hope and pray we or our loved ones never have to go through this situation.

I think I speak for most women here although I personally know of a lebanese friend who was brought up with the expectation that her husband will marry his 4 so she was always OK with it.
