What's wrong with storing weapons in a mosque? Did the Prophet Muhammad forbid storing weapons in a mosque?

What's wrong with planning whatever sort of activities in a mosque? Did the Prophet Muhammad forbid that? Please quote relevant hadith.

oh puhleeze, comparing the militants with Prophet Mohammad PBUH's time? Yeah we heard similar thing when Musharraf talked about "Sulah Hudaibiya" when he allied with US.

The weapons that were stored in the mosque were to be used against whom? Do you have knowledge or do you just pick some items and compare them against something totally out of context?

I am not at war, I am not living in the Arabian peninsula and you are right, this is not pre-Islamic times. I still own guns and keep them in my house.

Do you see a difference? I hope so, but then hope is dim. If you plan on using this gun to harrass your neighbor or enforce your own rules in your neighborhood then you will be punished.
