I don't see any contradictions. There's no mention of it in the Qur'an, and why should we bother ourselves with what might have happened, thousands or maybe millions of years ago.(** The Bible says that Adam (a.s) was born 6000 years ago only, not the Qur'an. **)

You are least concerned with why Hinduism permits incest, penis worship etc, and why the Bible shamelessly asks its followers to sexually enslave virgins belonging to the enemy, and why does the Bible commands its followers to kill women, children and even animals belonging to the enemy.

As I said before don’t drag Hinduism or Christianity into this!!
You know Hindus may practice all kinds of things and NOT practice them as well. THey don’t claim their Religion and their scripture are divine truth and complete solution for everything.
Since Muslims claim that, (atleast a majority of them posting here seem to believe Koran needs no revision or interpretation), they gotta explain this little naughty stray thought!!

Who gives a flying rat's ass about what Hindiusm, Christianity, Judaism, etc. say about incest? This thread is about Islam and you resorting to dissing other religions shows me exactly how true a religion Islam is. You can't even defend it without painting all other belief systems black.

If Islam is the true religion, it should be so because it is 100% consistent and whatnot, not becuase, compared to Hinduism and Christianity, it is 20% more consistent.

Ok, if that’s the way you want to force yourself to think, it’s ok with me. **But why are you so OBSESSED with Islam, and not with other religions?

That’s a DEFINITE PROOF that Islam is the ONLY true religion.

Let’s have a look at history.

When Abraham (a.s)called his people to the true religion, he was persecuted and even put to be burnt alive.

When Noah (a.s)called on his people to believe in the true religion, they were ridiculed and made fun of.

When Lot (a.s) invited his people to the true religion, they made fun of him.

When Moses (a.s) called on his people to believe in the true religion, they were persecuted by Pharoah.

When Jesus (a.s) called on his people to believe in the true religion, he and his true followers were persecuted.

Same is the case with ALL the Prophets. **It is has been the nature of the true religion that it is defamed with lies and it’s followers are brutally persecuted. **

BTW, Sarah, it’s Christians who always resort to attacking Islam in the first place. Muslims never spread lies against Christianity but Christians do.

That again answers what the true religion is.

I know and I have read that. It was a far more difficult question then you thought.
Coz now you explain me that this has not changed in past 1000 years!
First we all know Hinduism is no more Hinduism that used to be 60 years-70years-80-90-100..etc back.
Secondly Hinduism had and has a strong grip on traditions. So care to explain how many of those do what they read?
And that situation I mentioned happened to me while having dinner with my father's friend and then he did explain us that this is tradition in INDIA (at least in India)!

I know I'm off the topic but this one is important for me to be dicussed. So plz need a response. Thanks.

Adam was the first man created by Allah and Eve the first woman....
they gave birth totwins, a guy and a girl....
and these twins were considered as Brother and Sister....
the next twins were brotherss and sister....
and the guy from the first twin cud marry the girl from the second and vice versa....
and THIS was allowed only for that one generation....

What does it matter. ‘Sarva Dharma Sama Bhav’ is widely known and practised. Like Vajpayee believes in it apparently.

We like Cows becuase we grow up drinking it’s milk.
It is just a part of our life.

Read the article carefully..it says even though the british had banned sati…due to efforts by rajaram mohan roy and ghandhiji it was possible…the last occurence was reported in late 80’s…
