Well, there we go. Discussion over. You have your answer now Andhra.
In my opinion, Islam is a religion of contradictions. This is a glaring example of that.**

Do you mind telling us how Christianity explains this?
I don't see any contradictions. There's no mention of it in the Qur'an, and why should we bother ourselves with what might have happened, thousands or maybe millions of years ago.(** The Bible says that Adam (a.s) was born 6000 years ago only, not the Qur'an. **)
Geez.. You Kafirs are only looking for the slightest excuse to defame Islam. You are least concerned with why Hinduism permits incest, penis worship etc, and why the Bible shamelessly asks its followers to sexually enslave virgins belonging to the enemy, and why does the Bible commands its followers to kill women, children and even animals belonging to the enemy.
** Anyways, the concept of the first man is not unique to Islam only. It is shared by Judaism, Christianity and Hinduism (Brahma) too. ** You people yourselves know you are wrong - you have no justification to attack Islam based on such imaginary problems - but anyways, see you on the Day of Judgement !!!
