If a spouse...

Just a general question..

Would you allow or will have no problem if your spouse flirts, and laughs and talks a lot with people of opposite gender, even in your presence?:hmmm: Does that show that he/she thinks or knows that you trust him/her?

Re: If a spouse...

You can talk a lot as much as you want but WHY THE HELL DO YOU NEED TO FLIRT? TRUST..... TRUST MY ASS, I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE/SHE NEEDS TO FLIRT!

Re: If a spouse...

Talk sure...flirt HELL NO! thats disrespectful and shows that he has no care about your feelings whatsoever!

Re: If a spouse...

Flirting in front of you is stupid...thats disrespectful almost. Kind of like saying "I dont care if you're here or not...I do what I want"

Talkng is not a big deal.

Re: If a spouse…

So,what should the spouse do in such a case?:hmmm:

Re: If a spouse...

If he/she is flirting then i think you need to ignore in public because you never want to fight in public. But as soon as you get home make them understand how inconsiderate that was, and it should never happen again!

Re: If a spouse...

^ I agree don't cause a 'scene' in public, wait till you get home and then talk to him about it.

Slap the girl he is flirting with, pour a drink over his head, and flounce off home.

Talking is fine.. flirting infront of u're spouse, behind her back is wrong! RH is too kind.. I'd tie him to a skull-crusher and wind it all the way down!

Re: If a spouse…

^:rotfl:

lol..as well as poke his eyes out....

some guys flirt with women in the presence of or absence of their wives, but these same guys would never tolerate their wife talking to a guy...it just goes to show who the trust lies with

You are right Gina, I am too kind, what I should have added after the above was:

... flounce off home, log on to the internet, google what john wayne bobbit's wife did to him, take a knife in your hand and wait...

Re: If a spouse...

Laughing and talking a lot is fine, flirting (putting arm around her or any touchyfeely stuff even if it's 'cute' and not meant to be sexy) is not.

Re: If a spouse...

Women are so obsessed and back wards...

because mard hazraat ki harkatain hi kuch aisi hotin hain!!

Why google? everyone knows a good dahej includes a how-to manual

Sell all his organs and buy yourself a ruby/diamond ring!

Re: If a spouse...

sell his diamonds to buy your own? There is a kind of inescapable poetry in that ...

Wait wait ! Wasn't that supposed to be considered before one selects a life partner, or did one spouse develop this attitude all of a sudden, and the other noticed it all of a sudden ?!?

In any case it is a two way traffic. Respect your spouse's views as much you expect him/her to respect yours. Anyone should not try to change the whole personality of his/her spouse just after marriage, because s/he should have brought this issue before selecting him/her as life partner.

Both should respect each other's views and try to remain within the limits they expected from each other before marriage. One can't just impose one's views on one's spouse while oneself does whatever s/he likes without respecting views of one's spouse. They should both politely convey their point of view with logical reasoning while being flexible and keeping in view their "mutual beliefs and concepts about relationships"
