If a Shia and Sunni Get married...

Re: If a Shia and Sunni Get married…

Bro, among the scholars there are opinions that any Muslim who doesn’t pray 5 times a day is a kafir. However, I don’t hold that opinion my self, because many scholars say, that person is a sinner, but not a kafir.

However, all scholars agree that any person who denies that prayers are fardh, then no doubt that person is a kafir. So, I don’t see how you justified my logic by relating the matter of Aisha (RA) to not fasting, praying, paying zakat, etc. I don’t see the correlation.

The problem with Shia’s is far more. They say Quran has been altered, Aisha (RA) committed adultery, Abu Bakr (RA) was not a Companion, etc. Astaghfirullah.
Anyone holding such beliefs is out of the folds of Islam.

On the other hand, there are Shias who have deviant beliefs, but they are not kafirs.

All in all, it’s not a good idea for a Sunni to marry a Shia. Who knows, tomorrow if she becomes a practicing Muslim it could cause some serious problems for her and her children.

I agree with your sentiments, but this isn’t a light matter.

If she ends up marrying the Shia who is out of the folds of Islam, then their marriage is invalid in the sight of Allah. Any relations between them would mean zinah. I hope you see the severity of the situation.
